Boom! Whole kind food you’ll love

Heathen Vegan is Kendal’s first pop up home restaurant. It’s all about serving you tasty, affordable food in a funky cottage right in the heart of lovely Kendal.

What’s a pop up? Great question (we didn’t know either…) A pop up restaurant is a temporary restaurant. A temporary restaurant can pop up anywhere – homes, garden, car parks, festivals… We’re popping at home because it’s a great space, has a wonderful vibe and at night, with the candles lit, it’s a great place to be.

Ethics and things

We’re using local suppliers, we try to walk everywhere, bits and pieces we’ve needed are sourced from charity shops (nothing matches) and we try to avoid packaging to reduce our impact on landfill.

Food glorious food! We love it! Good food is restorative. It’s smile inducing, belt loosening, sigh-making stuff. When it’s ‘bob on’ life is good.
